Nuovo Arredo is located in the historical centre of Ascoli Piceno, splendid city of medieval origin.
The city offers libraries, historic cafes, churches, fortifications, museums, monuments, theaters, works of art and architecture. Ascoli Piceno is one of the most beautiful and monumental cities of Italy: the old town is made of travertine and it has as its centre Piazza del Popolo in Renaissance style, which receives several monuments: the Palace of the Captains alongside the historic Cafè Meletti, the Church of St. Francis, the Architecture of Merchants and the Theatre Ventidio Basso.
Another monumental center is Arringo Square, the oldest square of the city, where is placed the cathedral of St. Emidio which has its right to the Door of Musa and below the main nave there's the Crypt dedicated to the patron of the city, also Palace of the Arengo, headquarters of the Civic Art Gallery and the Episcopal Palace. Nearby there is Bonaparte Palace and from the square towards hill there is the church of St. Gregory the Great.
Not only squares, but also streets and alleys suggestive nature of medieval characterize the historical centre of Ascoli Piceno as Course Mazzini, Pretoriana way and Solestà way. Among the most famous monuments there is the Tower of the Ercolani, one of the few towers survived the Middle Ages, for which Ascoli Piceno is called 'City of One Hundred Towers'. Near the city, along the Salaria to Rome, in the area of Porta Cartara there is the complex restored the Cartiera Papale.
